Printable Pages
Pages of this website may be printed in two ways.
  1. To print the full page, click on “file” in the top browser menu bar and select "print".
  2. Click on the print icon in the bottom right corner of the body text to print only the body text within that section of the webpage. A formatted version of the page content will be included.

Virtual Tours - QuickTime Panorama's

Patheon provides online virtual tours of its facilities in both JPEG and QuickTime panorama formats. The QuickTime panoramas allow you to view our manufacturing or development areas via a 360 degree rotating image and also allow you to zoom in on areas of interest. These tours are intended to give you a virtual view of our best-in-class facilities throughout our network, all from the comfort of your own computer. Please note that the images included in the virtual tours are only a sampling of some of our capabilities. Our service offering is always growing thereby enabling us to better serve you, the client. Please contact us if you have any question regarding the tours or any our capabilities.

System requirements

  • Fast internet connection. Optimally 512 kbps or faster. (Each page is approximately 300KB to 400KB to download).
  • Apple QuickTime plug-in. (Free download form Apple’s web site)
    • Follow the instructions provided by Apple to install required the plug-in. Ensure that you install the QuickTime viewer after you have downloaded it before starting your tour.
  • If you are prompted with the following prompt "Click to run ActiveX control on this webpage" please click "OK" in order to view the Quicktime image.

How to use the QuickTime panoramas

When you open a page containing a QuickTime panorama you will see an image with a navigation bar at the bottom of the image as shown below.

  • Click and drag your mouse in the panorama window to spin the image 360 degrees.
  • Click on the "-" and "+" buttons on the navigation bar to zoom in and out respectively.

What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS feeds are a particular type of web page based on XML (eXtensible Markup Language).
RSS allows users to automatically consolidate newly published website information as soon as it has been added to the website. This includes getting the get the latest services information, career opportunities and news releases from Patheon in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to visit the website on a daily basis.  Patheon’s website has been designed to offer this convenience to users.

RSS Software Requirements

Subscribing to RSS

If you click on the orange RSS icon () button you can subscribe to the feed in various ways, including by dragging the URL of the RSS feed into your news reader or by cutting and pasting the same URL into a new feed in your news reader. All of the information features available via RSS within the Patheon website are marked with the symbol.


Event Reminders

In order to make accessing Patheon webcasts and events more convenient to remember, Patheon has added an event reminder system. Click the () link to download a vCalendar file. vCalendar files are compatible with mobile devices and applications such as Microsoft Outlook.


Adobe Acrobat

If you are having difficulty opening PDF files from this website, a change in your Adobe plug-in settings may be required. Please follow the procedure outlined below.

Problem:

When attempting to open a PDF the browser becomes a blank white screen. At this point the browser hangs and the PDF does not open. This is due to the plug-in that is trying to open the PDF within the browser.

Solution:

  1. Close ALL of your browsers
  2. Open Adobe Reader
  3. Go to the 'Edit' menu and select 'Preferences'
  4. In the left column select 'Internet'
  5. Uncheck 'Display PDF in browser'
  6. Click OK and try again
